Jim Richards
President & Co-founder
Jim’s first job was as a hired farm hand – and the values
and work ethic he learned there stuck with him for life. When he founded
Capstone IT over two decades ago, those same values became the foundation of
the organization. To this day, he is grateful to be part of a Christian-based
organization that delivers IT services and solutions.
As the president of Capstone IT, Jim’s aims to model Servant
Partnership in his efforts to provide his customers and people with a robust culture,
platform, and leadership. He works hard to ensure the company strives for
sustainable growth, without losing sight of their values.
When he’s not working, Jim enjoys getting outside to bike,
run, or swim—followed up with calamari and a lemon drop martini with his wife,
Julie. He is also involved as an Elder at his local community church and serves
in various capacities for several organizations, including two tech startups,
Omaha Christian Academy, and the Nebraska chapter of the Innovation &
Technology Council.
Jim turns to his Bible often, particularly Psalm 23, verse
6: “Surely goodness and mercy will pursue me all the days of my life, and I
will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.”
